BEA (Broadcast Educator’s Association)

Did you know that undergraduate and graduate students at BEA member
institutions can become BEA members at NO cost? Student members can apply
for one of the ten BEA National Scholarships in Broadcasting, enter the BEA
Festival of Media Arts competition in the fall, the BEA/NABEF Freedom of
Speech PSA Competition each spring, and participate in the Student Research
in Progress Competition that takes place in Las Vegas. Students will receive
information about internships and special offers from a variety of BEA partnering
organizations, and will be eligible for the member discount to attend BEA's annual
convention and the NAB Show in Las Vegas.

Attached you will find simple instructions on how students can join BEA directly
online. Please pass this to your students and encourage them to join BEA so
they can take advantage of these member benefits. They can use the discount
code: Instu-33 on the online form to receive their free BEA student membership.

Thank you for your dedication to BEA. Your continued support has allowed us
to produce more valuable services for colleges and universities - from promoting
scholarly research and creative endeavors to learning the latest in professional tools
and techniques.
